What would be in your Greatest Rock Medley? Being part of the Young Voices 2024 tour @YVTVChannel has been one of the best experiences of my life. I hope I have inspired lots of children to start learning a musical instrument. Between January 2024 and February 2024 I played a 30 night UK Arena tour performing to almost 600,000 people live. I have now performed at the O2 Arena 9 times (including with Lenny Kravitz).
I played a Rock Medley which is made of The Who: Wont get fooled again, The Killers: Somebody told me, Nirvana: Smells like teen spirit, Metallica: Enter Sandman, Foo Fighters: Everlong, Artic Monkeys: Brianstorm, The Who: My Generation, Queen: Don’t Stop me now, Coldplay: Fix You, Led Zeppelin: Rock ’n’ Roll and then a solo I made up myself.

I wanted to show everyone what I am currently capable of, and have as much fun as possible. I decided to play the hardest song I knew. It’s tricky as it’s really fast and there is a lot to remember. I need a lot of stamina to play triplets on the hi-hat. Also the triplets on the kick are very difficult to perform at this speed. I gave it my best shot. I played to my tempo and I am proud of my performance.

Sometimes things go wrong. It’s how you move forward when they do that matters. Being on a 30 night arena tour with @yvconcerts has been the most incredible experience of my life. But not every performance has been perfect. I have made mistakes, accidents have happened, I have had to learn how to deal with them when they do. It’s not always easy. But I feel so grateful for these lessons. My most important lesson is that when things go wrong, which they will, just roll with it!
